Lion King Time Lapse
The Lion King is one of the largest and most sprawling musical productions Broadway has ever seen. Segerstrom Hall in Southern California is one of the largest performing arts theaters in the country. It’s a match made in theatrical heaven. So when the touring company of the award-winning Disney musical came to town, the production wanted to showcase just how much work goes into transporting the plains of Africa to cities across North America. The effort is monumental – and required seven days, four cameras, and more than 70 different angles to capture. The resulting time lapse video tells the story simply and effectively – showcasing the amazing efforts of more than 100 dedicated crew members as they perform the load-in for the show.
